For us, the Northwest Territories is more than just a travel destination—it’s our home. That's why we are proud to support our community through various charities, organizations, and initiatives. Together with our sister properties, we contribute more than $170,000 per year to nonprofit organizations throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Nunastar Properties Inc. has been an active corporate citizen in Canada's North for over 40 years. In 2009, we introduced the Nunastar Fund for Northern Children which is a $1.725 million endowment fund dedicated to “the health, education and well-being of children and youth in Northwest Territories and Nunavut”.
Each year, charitable organizations that promote the growth and betterment of children and their families are selected to receive contributions from the Nunastar Fund.
