Explorer Hotel was great
We stayed at the Explorer Hotel in Yellowknife for 3 nights at the end of January. We really enjoyed our stay. We had breakfast at the restaurant twice. Great food! The hotel staff was wonderful as well.

Great hotel and convenient location
Great hotel in close proximity to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was great as well but a bit pricey. The room was spacious with enough room for 2 adults and 2 kid. Our room came with 2 queen beds which were comfortable to sleep in. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place
Good location (close to Franklin Street where everything in town is).
Rooms are great with excellent views. In the early mornings enjoyed staying in the warm room and just taking shots of outside. If you are lucky you can get sunrise/sunset views of the tranquil landscape.
They also have fridge and microwave. Staff are friendly.
Great stay highly recommended!
